1. Structural Overview & Eligibility
Format Definition: Continental Predictors is an independent prognostic game mode wherein participants forecast the exact volumetric outcomes (goals scored by each respective team) of designated real-world association football matches spanning recognized continental and international fixtures.
Account Standing: Participation in premium Continental Predictors pools is strictly restricted to accounts holding a verified M-PESA balance sufficient to cover the designated entry collateral without triggering negative liquidity parameters.
2. Prognostication and Lockout Protocols
Dynamic Lockout Deadlines: Unlike Gameweek-based modules, the lockout period for Continental Predictors is calculated on a per-fixture basis. Submissions and modifications for any designated fixture become strictly irrevocable exactly five (5) minutes prior to its officially scheduled kickoff time (the "T-5 Lockout").
Omission Penalties: Failure to submit a valid prediction for a given fixture prior to the T-5 Lockout shall result in the automatic allocation of zero (0) points for that specific match within the broader aggregate pool. No retroactive submissions or "grace period" provisions exist within the architectural protocol.
3. Mathematical Scoring Matrix
Exact Matrix Match (EMM): The awarding of maximum cumulative points (Standard: 5 Points) occurs exclusively when a participant’s forecasted scoreline is algebraically identical to the final verified outcome upon the conclusion of regulation time (including injury time, excluding extra time and penalties unless explicitly denoted by the pool parameters).
Vector Result Match (VRM): Should the explicit scoreline fail to match, but the predicted vectors (Win, Draw, or Loss) correctly align with the fixture's outcome, the participant shall be credited with secondary compensation (Standard: 2 Points).
Differential Bonus Provision: A marginal tertiary bonus (Standard: 1 Point) may be awarded if the participant correctly prognosticates the exact goal differential between the two competing entities, despite an incorrect volumetric scoreline (e.g., predicting 2-0 when the result is 3-1).
4. Settlement and Tie-Breaking Protocols
Definitive Action Protocol: Match results are officially reconciled utilizing authenticated third-party sports data orchestration APIs. Temporary scoreboard anomalies exhibited during live telemetry do not constitute grounds for premature settlement or arbitration.
Deadlock Protocol (Tier 1): In instances where multiple participants achieve identical aggregate points totals at the conclusion of a Continental Predictors pool, primary tie-breaking supremacy shall be awarded to the participant holding the highest frequency of Exact Matrix Matches (EMMs).
Deadlock Protocol (Tier 2): Should EMM frequency yield parity, secondary supremacy is decided by time-stamp auditing. The participant whose aggregate predictions were executed and successfully registered within the database earliest shall be deemed the superior party, thereby capturing the prioritized payout.
5. Financial Deductions and Cancellation Contingencies
Standard Rake Deduction: All aggregated gross prize pools generated by entry collateral within Continental Predictors are subject to the platform’s standard, non-refundable operational commission deductions (the "Rake") prior to the algorithm releasing escrowed funds to the victor(s).
Fixture Abandonment Protocol: Should a designated fixture be postponed, abandoned mid-play, or otherwise fail to reach official conclusion within forty-eight (48) hours of its original scheduled kickoff, that localized event shall be mathematically expunged from the active pool, and maximum attainable points thresholds will be computationally recalibrated.
